Review
This is official description
Midtown Madness 2 delivers even more mad-cap racing excitement with all the wild and hair-raising racing challenges you've come to expect!
Midtown Madness 2 features the single-player Crash Course mission mode where budding drivers master the tricks of Madness racing as a Hollywood Stunt Driver on location at a San Francisco movie set or as a Cabbie Trainee at the East End Cab Company School of Driving in London!
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.0
Midtown Madness takes you on an exciting race through the streets of San Francisco. Racing through a track is great, but careening through the streets of major cities is a bit more of thrill. Midtown Madness lets you chart your own path as you race your friends through the streets of San Francisco. The course provides a bit of a challenge, as you take to alleys, neighborhoods, and even buildings, to get to the finish line before your challenger. Adding to all this are obstacles like traffic, weather conditions, law enforcement, and pedestrians. Midtown Madness 2 features new fully-living and interactive city with accurate street maps and accurately rendered landmarks. This trial version includes only two cars – Ford Mustang Fastback and Mini Cooper Classic. You won’t get to see the whole thing in this trial version, but you can race four different events: cruise mode (for a few minutes), blitz race, checkpoint race, cop and robbers (multiplayer only). Crash Course mode is available - a series of skill-building scenarios where drivers can master the challenges of Madness Driving. |
